1. What we collect
PivotCN is a transit & travel helper for foreign visitors in China. We process only what is needed to deliver the service: your selected cities and routes (stored locally in your browser), AI chat content (sent to the LLM provider solely to answer your question), and anonymous operation logs (module/city clicks) used to improve the product. No payment card data ever touches our servers. Location is requested only when you tap “my current location”; it is used for that single request and is not stored on our servers. Photos uploaded for translation and audio recorded in the app are processed to return a result and are not kept after the request completes.
2. How we use it
AI answers are generated by third-party LLM providers via a server-side proxy; the API key never reaches your browser. Analytics are aggregated and anonymous. We never sell personal data. AI replies, translations and itineraries are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. They are provided as reference only and are not visa, legal, medical or financial advice. Always confirm important details with official sources.
3. Cookies & local storage
We use an httpOnly cookie to meter the free AI quota (30 messages/month) and localStorage for your saved plans. Removing them resets these, nothing else.
4. Sharing with service providers
Booking, activities and eSIM buttons open partner sites (Trip.com, Klook, 12306, DiDi, Airalo). Their privacy policies apply once you leave PivotCN. We share only the minimum data needed to deliver the feature you are using — for example the text you submit for AI processing, the place names you search, the city you are viewing, or your payment and order details for payment processing. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider; we never receive or store your card number. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Payments & subscriptions
Paid memberships are charged on our behalf by our third-party payment provider. We never receive or store your card number. Membership validity, quotas and refund rules are described in the Subscription Terms available on the membership page.
6. Retention & where data is stored
Account data (email, membership status, usage counters) is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile and usage records; encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. Preferences stored on your device (language, city, checklists) remain until you clear your browser data. Our servers are located in mainland China. If you use the service from outside China, your data will be transferred to and processed in China. By using the service you consent to this transfer.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Most information is visible under “My”; to request deletion or an export, email support@pivotcn.com and we will respond within 30 days. This service is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact support@pivotcn.com and we will delete it.
8. Disclaimer
Transit times, fares and visa rules change. Always verify with official sources (airline, immigration) before travel. PivotCN provides general guidance, not legal advice.

Статистика: мы используем собственную статистику посещений без файлов cookie. IP-адрес посетителя применяется только в памяти сервера для определения страны/региона по офлайн-базе, не сохраняется и сразу удаляется. Число уникальных посетителей основано на ежедневно меняющемся одностороннем хеше (хранится до 40 дней, не связывается между днями).
